Why the name blue pea POD?
Well we’re all about Authentic Success™. It’s about being you and experiencing success. Most people see it as an either or. I can be myself or I can put little bits of me to one side, play the game and have business success. The thing is you are unique, the team you lead is unique, the business you work in is unique, or at least it should be. Communication, leadership, engagement – none of these are about treating people like peas in a pod. Yet all too often this is what happens. Were you to ask people one of those weird questions, “If you were a pea, what colour pea would you be?” very few people would pick green because a green pea is common/generic. Communication, leadership, and building a high-performing team or business require you to be able to utilise the uniqueness, gifts and talents within the business. This, of course, starts with you. As a leader, you are the lid on the domain you lead. Consequently, that domain will not outperform you whilst you are its leader.
