Storytelling for Impact, Influence and Inspiration

Storytelling - The skill that turns good ideas into ones people actually follow

A practical, hands-on programme that gives leaders the storytelling skills to influence decisions, navigate change, and make messages stick, in the meeting, in the moment, in the conversations that actually matter.

Have you ever watched someone tell a story in a meeting and seen the whole room change?

Faces react – a smile or a frown. Someone tries not to cry, or doesn't quite manage it. Another picks up their pen and starts writing, or asks a question they wouldn't have asked before.

That's what a good story does because story is how human beings make sense of things, decide what to trust, and figure out what to do next.

Now think about the person who presented just before that. Equally intelligent. Possibly better data. Clear, logical, well-structured. The room nodded politely. And by Thursday, nobody could quite remember what was said.

The difference isn't intelligence or preparation. It's story.

And here's the thing, most people think storytelling is something you do on stage. At a conference. In a big pitch. But the stories that actually move organisations happen in much smaller moments. The team meeting where a leader reframes a setback and the energy in the room shifts. The one-to-one where the right story helps someone find their way through a difficult moment. The conversation where trust is built, or lost, in a handful of sentences.

That's the storytelling this programme teaches. Not the big keynote version. The everyday version that actually changes things.

In this practical interactive course you'll learn.

  1. Why storytelling is the ultimate leadership superpower - and how top leaders use it to influence at every level.
  2. The 3 types of stories every leader must have -  so you’re ready for meetings, presentations, and tough conversations.
  3. Simple, plug-and-play frameworks - so you never again wonder, “How do I even start this story?”
  4. How to tell stories that land in professional settings - no rambling, no fluff, just powerful, relevant stories that work.
  5. How to inspire action, not just polite applause - because what’s the point of telling a story if nothing changes?

By the end of this 6-hour course, you’ll walk away with:

3 powerful, work-ready stories you can share immediately to influence, inspire, and lead.
Proven storytelling frameworks you can use anytime - for meetings, presentations, pitches, and even LinkedIn.
The confidence to share stories that show who you are - and why people should listen to you.
✅ A clear sense of how to use storytelling as a leadership tool to shape how others see you - and open doors to new opportunities.

Where you will use this skill

Leading through change and uncertainty - When the path ahead isn't clear, people look to their leaders for a story that helps them make sense of it. Not spin. Not false certainty. An honest story that helps people understand where they are, why it matters, and what comes next. This programme builds that capability.

Building trust - Story is how human beings decide who to trust; it's been that way since long before PowerPoint. Leaders who share their own stories purposefully create the conditions in which their teams feel safe enough to do the same. That's not soft. That's the foundation of a high-performing team.

Communicating strategy and purpose -  A strategy that lives in a slide deck is just text. A strategy told as a story that people can see themselves in becomes something they choose to be part of. There's a very significant difference between those two outcomes.

Everyday influence , meetings, conversations, pitches - The daily moments where a well-chosen story shifts a conversation, reframes a setback, or gets an idea from one side of the table to the other and into action.

First-time leaders and emerging talent  - The step from individual contributor to leading others is one of the most significant transitions a leader makes, and finding your leadership voice is a critical part of making that transition well. This programme addresses it directly.

Leadership presence  - Presence isn't a personality trait you either have or don't. It's partly about the stories you tell, about yourself, your team, and what you're building together. This programme gives leaders a way to develop it deliberately.

Who is this for?

✅ Mid-level leaders ready to increase their influence and leadership presence.

✅ Senior Leaders building purpose-driven organisation's who want to inspire confidence and followership.

✅ Solopreneurs and business owners who need to connect and persuade in every conversation.
